Data breach complaints on the rise after GDPR

Data breach complaints have more than doubled since the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into effect in May.

Between 25 May – 3 July 2018, there were 6,281 complaints compared to just 2,417 complaints over the same period in 2017.

Businesses are reminded that under the new regulations fines of up to £16.5million can be imposed over data breaches. Find out more:
