Managing the health and wellbeing of workers improves organisational performance and reduces the cost of ill health and absence, which last year cost the Welsh economy £500 million.

‘Bridgend Estates Engagement Project’ (BEEP) aims to support businesses in Bridgend County to effectively manage a safe, healthy and more prosperous workplace in line with HSE’s strategy ‘Helping Great Britain Work Well’.

It is a business’ legal duty to protect health, safety and wellbeing of their employees and public. BEEP can help you fulfil this legal duty.

BEEP have been busy running a project over the last few months which has involved getting out and about and speaking directly to businesses and have visited 23 industrial estates across the county borough.

As a result of information gathered from over 300 businesses, a comprehensive agenda and topics for a workshop aimed at businesses has been developed.

The free workshop will take place at the Heronston Hotel on Wednesday 27 September 2017.

Local stakeholders who have already committed to supporting this day include:

This is an ideal environment to network, get free business and occupational health and safety advice in an informal setting, have access free services that support business growth.

So far over a hundred provisional bookings have been made already, the final agenda and confirmation for bookings will be sent out to those interested businesses at the end of August.
