Bridgend Business Forum is inviting local businesses to join them in celebration of St David’s Day 2017, with a morning of top-notch entertainment, including special guest, world-renowned rugby union referee, Nigel Owens MBE and a traditional Welsh breakfast at the Coed-y-Mwstwr Hotel, Coychurch.

Not only will businesses have the opportunity to listen to Nigel’s thoroughly entertaining anecdotes from his experiences in world rugby, both from a professional and personal perspective, but they will also have the opportunity to network with forum members and other business organisations, entertain clients and colleagues whilst celebrating St David’s Day in style!

About the speaker:

Carmarthenshire-born Nigel has gained an impressive reputation for his decision-making on the pitch. He is held in high-regard for his fair application of the rules combined with a pinch of humour, which allows the game to flow naturally. Harnessing the respect of the rugby world, Nigel’s character and knowledge makes him stand out from the crowd..  

His experience of tackling difficult characters and trying situations on the pitch have stood him in good stead to deal with challenging experiences in his personal life which is something he will share an insight into with guests on the day.

Off the pitch, Nigel is often seen on television and is a well-known face on S4C Welsh language chat shows Jonathan and Bwrw’r Bar. His wealth of professionalism, patriotism and passion in whatever he does really shines through when he speaks in front of an audience.
